How to Boot into Custom Recovery Like TWRP/CWM on any Android Phone
1st Method :
In this method, first of all you need to turn off (Power off) your phone. Then once you sure it is power off, now hold simultaneously the ‘Power’ button and the ‘Volume down’ button for a few seconds (if this does not work out, try with “Power and Volume Up” – Some phones may work with this combination).
Now release the button after few second and you should see options where you can select “Recovery”, now your phone will boot into custom recovery which you installed.
2nd Method :
Easiest method, but requires ROOT Access to boot into TWRP. If no root, then you can either follow first method or 3rd method.
In this method, you can simply download the free app called ‘Quick Boot’ from Google Play Store. Now open the installed app, grant it root permission and once you are in, now select Reboot into Recovery option, which will allow you to simply reboot and straight away boot into custom Recovery. That’s it !
3rd Method :
Here is a little bit complicate method which will need you to have either PC/Laptop. So before proceeding you need to make sure you have proper working USB Cable and plug your phone to PC/Laptop using the USB Cable. Now enable USB Debugging, To Do So
- First of all enable the Developer Option To Enable the Developer Option, Go to your Settings -> About -> Software Information -> More -> Now Tap on the Build Number 7-8 Times until you see a toast message “Developer option enabled“
- Go back to Settings -> Developer Option and Enable USB Debugging
Once you have enabled, Now Install the ADB and Fastboot on your Windows PC or Mac Computer. Now type the command below to reboot your phone to bootloader.
adb reboot recovery
Hit Enter and your phone will start rebooting to custom recovery.
